Catching up on Seniors

I've been overcome with shooting and editing seniors- and I've gotten a little behind with blog posting, so I'll have to remedy that with this post. Seniors are one of my favorite sessions to do and it's been a busy senior year. I've already shot double the number of seniors I did last year total! Because I'm a one-woman show, if you've been meaning to schedule your senior session please don't put it off any longer. The calendar is already filling up!

Here are just a few samples of some fav senior images.

Aidan

I was so honored to do Aidan's newborn portraits. At 9 days overdue is was more alert than many newborns I've worked with- and oh so adorable.

2+1 = 3

Sam and Austin are brothers- and twins and along with their sister Mackenzie they make quite a threesome. We had lots of smiles and broke out the suckers at the end for a few more fun shots.

The boys had just had a visit by the tooth fairy so of course we had to document that as well!

Ashton

Now how can you not want to pick up this little guy and just squeeze him and fluff that awesome black hair? Ashton was a little tight on the smiles-- but he gave us some smiles by the end of the session. And besides, when you're that cute- who needs smiles anyway??

Brooklyn

Brooklyn's Senior Session was great. We saw a funnel cloud, posed over carcus (what you do for the shot) and she made the leap of trusting me when I had a crazy idea or two. I hope she loves her pictures!

It's been a little busy...

My blog has been severely neglected~ but to say I've been a little busy might be an understatement. As you know, we moved into our new studio a while ago so that has kept us busy with moving and setting up. In June we found out we will be welcoming child #3 in February! (I guess we just always have to have a building project in the works). Then, as many of you know, my son broke his femur the last day of the county fair. (Cars backing up and little tiny boy boys don't mix well). So after a surgery and 6 days in the hospital we are back home and he is doing surprisingly well, thank goodness!

There is no denying it...I am behind. I'm nearly caught up on the missed sessions from the week we were in the hospital and I'm working through the editing process...so thank you for your patience!

Here is Mady and Chase- the cutest little duo. I got the chance to use my chalkboard set and I love the results. So whimsical and perfect for childhood sessions.

I'll keep plugging away here! Thank you to all of you that sent prayers and best wishes for Calvin while we were in the hospital and recovering at home.
