I'm falling a little behind- tis' that time of year I guess. You'll have to forgive me if my blog starts to suffer but the holiday season and holiday portait time is kicking into high gear.

Sweet little Madelyn is such a teeny-tiny thing- but she sure knows what she wants.

Mainly mommy, daddy and a lot of bouncing and swaying~ but why not...you're only one month old once in a lifetime.

Custom Creations

One of the things I most enjoy is taking some of the images from a session and creating a custom portrait piece of a few of the images that really speak to me. Montages, collages and storyboards and personalized holiday cards are just a few of the specialty items offered. Here are a few custom portrait pieces from Kelby's session- and one of my session favs.

The whole clan

Mady and Chase like to get their portraits done nearly as much as I like doing them! The whole family came for Christmas Portraits and then Chase donned his little hockey uniform-oh my how cute! Mady was just as snazzy in her gymnastics leotard- I'll post more peeks of that in a few days- in the mean time here is Mady's gymnastics silhouette that is pretty cool.

Family Portraits

It was a pleasure doing family portraits for this family from across the border in Iowa. With three active boys to keep mom and dad busy-it was a full session. I loved hearing how Kyle wished for a baby and the next thing you know Adam was part of their family! I was going to have Kyle do some wishing for ME, but I got so distracted I forgot all about that. Maybe next time, Kyle!

Here are a few from their family session. Baby Adam just had his one year portraits taken a couple weeks back so he got to watch from the sidelines for the most part.

Baby Haiden

Welcome baby Haiden. What a sweet little boy who is loved by so many- including two big brothers at home. These newborn days go by in a blink- I hope the portraits will help you remember just how precious and tiny little Haiden is. Thank you for allowing me to do his first professional portraits.

It's pretty hard to say winter is right around the corner when I just posted about palm trees and Hawai'i just days ago- but, I guess Christmas always sneaks up on us.

Just a reminder that our studio is closed the month of December to finish up orders and allow some time to prepare for the holidays myself. So, if you've been thinking about booking a session or ordering holiday cards, now is the time to do so! :)

I hate having to turn people away, so I thought I'd put the word out now that I do have several session slots remaining for November on a first come basis.

Merritt

Little Merritt is a year old. He's still got those beautiful big blue eyes and I love the new teethy smile. I am having way too much fun with that "Better not pout" theme. ;)
