Sofia's costume arrived today and so we quickly assigned tonight as picture night and captured a few images of her in her beautiful get up (I think this costume might be my favorite to date!) I think the set is going to work nicely to set off all the variety of costumes and colors. I hope you'll like it as well as I do!

The schedule is getting fuller every day, so please contact me asap if you'd like to get on the schedule.

Keep in mind the referral program (see blog post below) is a great way to build credit towards purchase of your own dance pictures, and it can be dancers from any location, not just Jackson County. I've had a few people inquire if they could do ice skating portraits with this as well---- SURE! The set would look phenominal for ice-skaters too.

DANCE PORTRAITS 2011

It's time for Dance Mini Portrait Sessions~ and this year I'm excited to offer a whole new set for your little (and not so little) dancer.
SILVER SASS is the theme and I think you're going to love the set. I've been planning it for nearly a year and will have some new shiny and silver props to help your dancer sparkle and shine. I'll have some sample images for you next week, but think, "Silver Glam"
Dates have been set for Wednesday March 16, Thursday 17th and Friday the 18th. Please email or call to book your preferred 15 minute time slot.

In addition, this year our studio is offering a referral program that will allow previous clientele to earn credit towards their portraits!

DETAILS: For each NEW DANCE REFERRAL you send our way for dance pictures, earn $20 credit you may use on your own dance pictures. And there is no limit...if you refer 5 people, that's $100 credit!! So spread the word!
Now the small print: Credit will be given to clients who have participated in dance pictures in 2009 or 2010.
One new credit allowance per new client household. New referrals can be dancers at ANY school of dance~ not just the local one.
Person referred must not have participated in Dance Mini Sessions from our studio previously. (though they may have been shot by our studio for a different type of session.)
Person MUST mention their referral's name at the time of booking. No credit will be given after the fact.
No cash value and non transferable.

VALENTINES DAY HEADSHOT SPECIAL!

February Fun

I love shooting this family. It's hard to believe that their son is 5, I can vividly remember shooting his newborn portraits and what a tiny little thing he was. One of the great things about doing photography is the connection I've built with people - and the ability it gives me when shooting their images in subsequent sessions. It gives me a feel for the type of images they like, how they want to use them, etc. Knowing mom and her daughter, I suggested they bring some purses and a gear for a special diva type of portrait for little Ms. B. I love the images we got- SUCH FUN!
