Thanks for your patience!!!

Merry Christmas

I always feel a little pressure when it comes to doing my own Christmas card. I decided to do something a little out of the norm this year. It came to me and in less than 10 minutes I combed Sofie's hair, threw some overalls on Calvin and we were done. (that's the kind of sessions my kids like!) Of course, creating the card took a bit longer- but I was pleased with how it came out. It won't be too much longer that my kids are going to 'put up' with the cutsie stuff!

Thank you for allowing me to capture your families images, spirit, and personality this past year. Life truly does go by in a blink.

Merry Christmas from our family to yours.

Adria

I couldn't wait to meet Keenan's little sister, Adria. I think you'll agree she really is a beautiful baby! And what a nice family-- Keenan sure warmed up and talked more during our session than I"ve heard him say his whole life~ he really warmed up to the camera.

Welcome Adria!!

All Five

I did a session with my nieces and nephews this week and we're at the point where even the "little" boys can sit and follow directions~ which is always helpful! They turned out so cute- and I love the PLAY image. That Grant is quite the character.

Favs

Garrett and his family are one of my favs~ and I am so flattered they make the drive from Mankato for me to do their sessions. Garrett is a poser and a charmer- and now that he is one he is going to be a MOVER- and these sessions aren't going to get easier- but I'm not too worried, his charming personality just shines through all that toddler motion!

Here are some of my favorites from Garrett's one year session. Happy Birthday Garrett!

South Dakota Cowboys

Here's a quick peek at a father-son cowboy duo. They took the opportunity for a father- son portait that really reflects who they are! Thank you for making the trip from Sioux Falls to allow me to capture your portraits!

Lindsay's Family

Lindsay brought her family in for a holiday portrait as well. She is such a fun and sparky little girl- it's so much fun to photograph her. Here is one of several family portraits we did.

Redwood Falls

It was a pleasure to see this family from Redwood Falls again and I so appreciate them making the trip down to see me. I hadn't yet met their newest addition to the family, and he certainly cooperated with TONS of smiles and happiness. What a sweetie- and what a beautiful family!

December is here

December is here and with it brought a head cold to slow me down. I'm working to get through the various sessions that I have to edit and post- and promise to get everything up with plenty of time for holiday portraits. Though this time of year is always extremely busy- one of the things I really enjoy is getting to see how family's little ones grow and change. I can remember last years portrait session with this family of three little boys and it sure seems like time flies by. This is one of my favorites from the session. Sure looks like a set of brother who know how to have fun, doesn't it?
